Favorite Bible Verse: My favorite verse/chapter is Psalms 23.  It got me through difficult times when I was growing up and especially during my teenage years.

Personal Statement:   After graduating from Winthrop, I worked for the Horry County School system at the District Office as Secretary in the Teacher Incentive Program, while waiting for a teaching position to open.  Then in March that same year an opening at Myrtle Beach High School gave me the opportunity to teach computers for the remainder of the school year.  I then was hired and taught at Whittemore Park Middle School in Conway, SC  for 6 1/2 years.   But after the birth of my daughter and then son, I decided to stay at home until they started school.  I decided then that my children would go to a  Christian school where they could talk and learn freely about God.  Soon after, I felt the calling to use my teaching knowledge here at North Myrtle Beach Christian School. I live with my husband, Glenn of 23 years, and our two children, Audrey and Parker, in NMB and Loris.  I love to walk the beach in search of “treasures”.  I also got to witness my first Sea Turtle hatching this summer!  It was the most wonderful thing I have seen in a while.  God’s beauty is all around us waiting to be seen and discovered!
